Ministry Launches Youth Trailblazers Out Front 2026
The Ministry of Youth, Social Development and Seniors is pleased to announce the launch of Youth Trailblazers Out Front–2026, a recognition initiative celebrating Bermuda’s graduating students who have demonstrated achievement, perseverance, service, creativity, leadership, and strong character.
Minister Tinee Furbert stated, “Beyond the accolades, this initiative is about the heart of our youth. I am deeply moved by the quiet strength and vibrant spirit our students show every day. I want every graduate to feel, down to their core, that they are seen, valued, and immensely loved by their community. You are the heartbeat of Bermuda, and we couldn't be prouder of the path you are blazing.
“When we take the time to recognize our young people, we do more than applaud their achievements; we fuel their confidence, affirm their potential, and inspire others to rise. Celebrating our youth is an investment in the future, and a joyful reminder that greatness is already growing among us every single day.”
Honourees will be recognised through public profiles, ministerial acknowledgement, digital features, and a flag installation on Front Street, offering a visible moment of pride within the community.
The initiative is open to Bermuda’s 2026 graduating students, including final-year middle school (M3), senior high school (S4), and those in private or specialised programmes.
Students of all abilities are encouraged to be nominated across categories, including Academic Achievement, Leadership and Service, Community Impact, Sports Achievement, Arts and Culture, and STEM and Innovation, with one overall Youth Trailblazer selected.
Nominations may be submitted by schools, sports clubs, community and youth organizations, churches, and non-profit organizations.
The nomination deadline is May 11, 2026, and submissions can be made at bit.ly/youthtrailblazer2026.
